Evaluation of the histological Inflammation in the intestines of male mice infected with Entamoeba histolytica using immunohistochemistry technology

The current study was conducted during the period between May 1, 2021 and October 30, 2022 for the purpose of diagnosing infection with the Entamoeba histolytica parasite. The clinically infected patients suffered from diarrhea when the samples were examined microscopically using a sample of direct wet swab. In the experimental study, the Entamoeba histolytica was given to laboratory mice and it was observed that tissue damage appeared as a result of infection with the amoeba parasite, represented by necrosis and explosion in the intestinal villi, dissolution of the epithelial layer and the occurrence of a condensation of inflammatory cells in the intestine.
