ISOLATED MANDIBULAR OSTEOFIBROUS DYSPLASIA: A RARE CASE AND REVIEW OF LITERATURE.
Osteofibrous dysplasia (OFD) is a rare, benign, non-neoplastic condition of unknown origin, characterized by a fibrovascular defect. It typically affects the tibia and fibula, the two bones in the leg. This case report highlights the clinical presentation, diagnostic process, and treatment strategy for a 38-year-old female patient diagnosed with OFD in the mandible, an unusual site for the disease. After a thorough discussion, the patient opted for regular follow-up. There were no signs of lesion progression or malignant transformation during the monitoring period.
