THEORETICAL ANALYSIS: AGING'S IMPACT ON MUSCLE-TENDON FUNCTION AND MOVEMENT PATTERNS
Aging induces profound changes in the musculoskeletal system, affecting muscle-tendon function and consequently altering movement patterns. This article presents a theoretical analysis of these changes, emphasizing the physiological mechanisms underlying muscle and tendon deterioration with age, and their implications for movement and rehabilitation. The findings underscore the need for targeted interventions to mitigate the effects of aging on mobility and functional independence in older adults.
