Reflexões sobre as tensões do conceito de comunicação pública: erosão democrática, fragmentação da esfera pública e horizontes comuns

This study proposes a reflection [on the elements that strain the concept of public communication based on three central arguments: the erosion of democratic values, the fragmentation of the public sphere, and the difficulty of broadening common horizons between subjects. We depart from the concept of public communication as that which takes place in the public sphere and involves debate on issues of public interest. The discussion of this essay use authors such as Avritzer, Han, Habermas, Pariser, among others.
