Environmental application of dicarboxylated hairy cellulose crosslinked with calcium for removal and confining of Pb(<scp>ii</scp>)
DCCa is a cellulose based biopolymer which was used for the first time for removal of lead from simulated wastewater. DCCa has shown remarkable Pb( ii ) sorption capacity which makes it a competitive material for lead removal and confining.
