Exploration of the Meaning and Implementation Strategies of “Differentiated Instruction through Edutech” in Public Education
This study explores the meaning and implementation strategies of using EduTech for personalized instruction in the context of public education. Through an analysis of existing research and focus group interviews conducted in three sessions with elementary and middle school teachers and experts, open coding, nominalization, and categorization were applied to responses and interview transcripts. In addition, a keyword network analysis was conducted using UCINET. Results indicate that EduTech and differentiated instruction emerged as central concepts for personalized learning, with both high frequency and centrality. Although diversity appeared with lower frequency, it ranked as a top keyword in terms of centrality, highlighting the importance of considering student diversity and instructional diversification when designing personalized learning approaches using EduTech. The study suggests that differentiated instruction is a practical approach to using EduTech for personalized learning in public education. It also proposes an instructional diversification strategy that aims to reflect the characteristics and levels of learners, with the overall goal of effectively supporting all students.
