Pengaruh Pertumbuhan Ekonomi dan Jumlah Penduduk Terhadap Tingkat Pengangguran di Provinsi Gorontalo

The research aimed to determine the effect of Economic Growth and Population on the Unemployment Rate in Gorontalo Province. The research employed a descriptive approach with quantitative research methods. The data used were secondary data obtained from the Statistics (BPS) of Gorontalo Province. This research applied Multiple Linear Regression Analysis techniques with the help of SPSS 21 Program. The research findings disclosed that 1) the economic growth affected the Unemployment Rate in Gorontalo Province positively and insignificantly, 2) the population affected the Unemployment Rate in Gorontalo Province negatively and significantly, and 3) simultaneously, the economic growth and population affected the Unemployment Rate in Gorontalo Province.
