Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown measures on clinical visits and subjective symptoms in childhood allergic rhinitis induced by house dust mites in Shanghai
The COVID-19 pandemic and its associated lockdown measures provided a unique context to observe the dynamics of management in children with HDM-AR. The findings underscore the complexity of managing allergic conditions in pediatric populations, highlighting the influence of environmental and lifestyle changes on disease presentation and the need for tailored approaches to treatment during periods of societal disruption.
