A (des)concentração da produtividade de papers científicos sobre o Ensino de Sociologia no Brasil
This article conducts bibliometric analyses of papers on the teaching of Sociology published in academic journals. The (de)concentration of productivity, agents, and publication locus is observed and discussed. A statistical test was performed to observe whether Lotka's Law applies to the subfield of Sociology teaching. The methodological procedures for data collection, systematization, and presentation involved the combined use of the Publish or Perish, Zotero, and Bibliometrix software. The data extraction base was Google Scholar. The analyses were conducted based on Field Theory and ongoing debates. The recent expansion of papers was evident, with a considerable concentration of participation from journals and authors above what Lotka found, revealing a relative fragility regarding the maintenance of the research subfield in question, an aspect that may be related to the recent development of this social sphere.
