Investigation of Possible Sources of Electrodermal Activity in Surgical Personnel to Assess Workplace Stress Levels
The study concludes that both the toes and the shoulder/neck area serve as viable alternative locations for assessing occupational stress levels in surgical personnel. This assertion is supported by the similarity of the data produced by these methods to that of the standard finger-based technique, with the latter still being identified as the most sensitive method for capturing EDA. Subsequently, these findings attest to the potential for practical adaptation of this technique in surgical contexts.
