Determination of the Level of von Willebrand Factor, ADAMTS13, and Ratio of ADAMTS13:von Willebrand Factor in Sickle Cell Disease Patients
VWF level is elevated in VOC state and thus may be implicated in the pathogenesis of VOC. ADAMTS13 and the ratio of ADAMTS13:VWF are not significantly affected in VOC.
