Soluble adhesion molecules in serum and peritoneal fluid are associated with pelvic pain in endometriosis
Elevated levels of sE-selectin and sICAM-1 in serum and peritoneal fluid are associated with pelvic pain in women with endometriosis, suggesting their role in pain pathogenesis and potential as biomarkers for pain severity and disease diagnosis. Further research is warranted to explore the underlying mechanisms and validate these findings in larger cohorts.
