Cross-Chain Non-Fungible Assets Sharing on Polkadot

Interoperability and asset sharing between different blockchains have transitioned from theoretical concepts to practical implementations. In the early phases of blockchain development, networks operated independently and could not communicate or share assets across other networks. Asset sharing was limited to transactions within a single network. However, current blockchain projects are actively integrating interoperability features as standard. The potential applications of interoperability are vast. While many projects strive to implement interoperability through their protocols, relying on third-party protocols introduces challenges related to trust and reliability. Some projects may encounter limitations in funding or insufficient testing, leading to significant issues compared to native protocols. This article seeks to expand the capabilities of native cross-chain protocol on Polkadot by introducing a module for cross-chain non-fungible assets sharing. Currently, no solutions are actively used to share non-fungible assets within the Polkadot ecosystem. This is mainly because older cross-chain message-passing protocol versions lacked the features necessary to develop such a product.
