A platform to ease dApp development and adoption

Blockchains have evolved from A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System to A secure decentralised generalised transaction ledger and much more. However, blockchains are yet to see the mass adoption envisaged by their visionaries. A steep learning curve for decentralised application developers and transaction fees that may not meet the requirements of many applications, deter decentralised application development. On the other side, the need to hold the native currencies of a blockchain, interoperability between multiple blockchains, and key management are some of the aspects that create hesitancy in consumers to adopt blockchain. Additionally, the requirement for users to pay pertransaction gas fees represents a significant behavioural change, further deterring adoption. This paper describes our platform, zbyte, which aims to address these bottlenecks and accelerate blockchain adoption. We present our low-code/no-code platform, which reduces the entry barrier for developers and enables them to build blockchain-enabled, decentralised applications. Developers can also choose to pay the gas fee on behalf of their users in a seamless manner, expanding the user base. We further describe how seamless key management and single-token operation enhance the user experience for consumers on our platform.
