Features of the Isotopic Distribution of Uranium on the Border of Polar and Non-polar Environment
The kinetics of the extraction process of UO2(NO3)2∙2TBP complexes has been studied in a heterogeneous system. In the process of adsorption, UO2(NO3)2∙2TBP complexes are formed at the vertical border of the 5.6 M HNO3 polar solution and the solid surface of nonpolar polypropylene (C3H6)n. Kinetics of the extraction process of UO2(NO3)2∙2TBP complexes is described by the pseudo-first-order YerofeyevKholmogorov and pseudo-second-order Ho and McKay models.
