As a result of the study, characteristic features of the interaction of these statesmen were revealed, examples of constructive cooperation and contradictions between them were shown. General Alekseyev’s dismissal was caused by his disagreement with the coalition government’s programme. Trustful relations between the head of the Provisional Government and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief remained after the resignation of the military commander.
