Janus Swarm Metamaterials for Information Display, Memory, and Encryption (Adv. Mater. 45/2024)
Janus Swarm Metamaterials Magnetoactive Janus particles (MAJPs) with engineered functional compartments provide tunable structure and properties that enable fast swarming response, remote actuation, and advanced functions in electronics-free configurations. MAJPs were implemented in swarm metamaterials with programmable dynamic display, non-volatile and semi-volatile memory, Boolean logic, and information encryption functions in soft, wearable devices.
