Pravna tehnologija (legal tech) i njezina (ne)prikladnost za zamjenu pravne struke

Technological progress regularly poses new challenges to the legal system, including the legal profession. Many inventions and improvements in the field of information and communication technology enable its increasing use within the work of the legal professions, both in the public and in the private sector. Whether we will soon stand before robot judges depends, of course, on whether we as a society will accept such a change or whether we will be satisfied with advanced technologies remaining supportive tools to a greater or lesser extent. At this moment it is clear that there is a high degree of caution towards these novelties in many parts of the world, but in some places, like in China, tools and functions are used that are not in accordance with the value system that dominates in Europe. The caution being a consequence of technological and legal-ethical limitations, necessitates that in introducing new technologies into the legal profession, they are designed and created in interdisciplinary teams while respecting all the principles and regulations of a certain legal system.
