Mogući uticaj veštačke inteligencije na kolektivno ostvarivanje autorskog prava

This paper analyses the interaction of artificial intelligence (AI) with the collective management of copyright in an attempt to project possible outcomes of that interaction. The approach is the following: first, three hypothetical scenarios of the possible impact of AI on the collective management of copyright are projected (two positive and one negative); afterward, the conditions and probability for the realization of each of the given scenarios are examined. The conducted analysis implies that the impact of AI on the collective management of copyright can be divergent. AI can be a cause of both new opportunities (for the improvement and expansion of the field of action) and new problems for the collective management of copyright. How things unfold (in a positive or negative direction) largely depends on the collective management organizations and their readiness to address the opportunities and challenges presented by AI.
