Patentno pravo u doba veštačke inteligencije

The exciting changes that artificial intelligence brings and promises are often accompanied by a spirit of sensationalism that has not bypassed the professional literature. In the domain of patent law, there is very little room for sensationalist speculation, because it turns out that the existing rules of this legal branch are very robust and can serve their purpose even under the pressure of an increasing number of inventions in the field of artificial intelligence. More specifically, artificial intelligence is just an advanced stage in the evolution of digital technology that patent law has been dealing with for several decades by patenting software and computer-implemented inventions. The author is of the opinion that, apart from minimally adjusting the bylaws and the methodology of examination of patent applications, artificial intelligence will not force significant changes in substantive patent law in the foreseeable future.
