Narrow band STW filters with reduced insertion loss

This paper presents the results of the research and development of the narrow band STW filters with a fractional bandwidth of 0.07-0.12 %. Use of the asynchronous topology, constructional, topological and technological optimization with a computer simulation by an equivalent circuit model on the base P-matrix method with the LC- matching allowed reduce the insertion loss of the filters down to 2.0-2.2 dB in a extended frequency range of 500-1344 MHz.

Abstract

This paper presents the results of the research and development of the narrow band STW filters with a fractional bandwidth of 0.07-0.12 %. Use of the asynchronous topology, constructional, topological and technological optimization with a computer simulation by an equivalent circuit model on the base P-matrix method with the LC- matching allowed reduce the insertion loss of the filters down to 2.0-2.2 dB in a extended frequency range of 500-1344 MHz.
