Conducting Polymer-Titanium Dioxide Nanostructures for Toxic Gas Detection
The poly(o-toluidine)-titanium (IV) oxide nanocomposites were prepared by oxidative polymerization of o-toluidine in the p-toluenesulfonic acid solution contained a TiO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> nanoparticle’s dispersion. The structure of poly $(\mathbf{o}-$ toluidine)- TiO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> nanocomposites and their optical absorption and specific resistance under the action of toxic gas vapors (dimethylformamide, nitrobenzene, tetrahydrofuran) were studied.
