Increasing the Productivity of EBPVD Process for Obtaining of Ag and Cu Antimicrobial Nanocoating on Mg-Based Alloy Implants in Osteosynthesis
Approaches for increasing the efficiency of the use of materials that evaporate with subsequent deposition in a vacuum were analyzed. Evaporation technology was developed and adapted specifically for obtaining of antibacterial coatings on Mg-based alloy implants used in osteosynthesis. The high efficiency and advantage of deposition from an evaporator with a directed steam flow in a vacuum compared to the classical crucible evaporation scheme are shown. The optimal technological regimes of deposition from the evaporation equipment have been determined to achieve homogeneity of the directional flow of steam. The dependence between the temperature of the target, the efficiency of the evaporation scheme and the distance between the evaporator and the target was experimentally determined.
