The sample included 46 participants and the methodological approach refers to field research, with an exploratory-descriptive nature and a quantitative approach. Data were collected based on 2 instruments, a sociodemographic questionnaire and the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). Furthermore, through the results obtained, it was possible to verify that all research participants were male. And even though 72.3% of the police officers were located at some stage of the syndrome, especially in the initial phase, with a total of 62.1% of the participants. Therefore, the importance of implementing preventive measures and mental health support strategies to address Burnout syndrome among police officers is understood.
