TELETRABALHO NO ÂMBITO DO TRIBUNAL DE JUSTIÇA DE RONDÔNIA: PÓS PANDEMIA
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges to several public and private institutions around the world, requiring rapid adaptations to their work processes to ensure the continuity of activities. The Court of Justice of the State of Rondônia (TJRO) was no exception. In order to prevent the spread of the virus and at the same time maintain the functioning of the justice system, the TJRO, like other bodies of the Judiciary, implemented the remote work regime, also known as home office, as an emergency and effective solution. The implementation of home office at the TJRO involved rapid adaptation of the technological infrastructure. The use of digital platforms for case management, videoconferencing and remote communication systems were essential to allow employees to continue performing their functions efficiently, even outside the physical environment of the court. Materials and Methods: This work uses bibliographic research carried out in articles, theses, electronic journals and other websites as its methodology. This paper aims to analyze and reflect on the administrative, financial, legislative perspectives and human factors available in the adoption of telework, based on a bibliographic review. Discussion: The transition to home office at TJRO required the implementation of a robust technological infrastructure that would enable the execution of tasks and the conduct of processes remotely. The court already had a history of digitizing processes, through the Electronic Judicial Process (PJe) system, which facilitated the migration to telework. However, to make remote work viable in a comprehensive manner, it was necessary to improve the IT structure, offering technical support, communication tools and secure access to judicial and administrative systems.
