The epidemiological characteristics of invasive pulmonary aspergillosis and risk factors for treatment failure: a retrospective study

A decreased albumin level, an elevated PCT level, coinfection, and less bronchial wall thickening were independent risk factors for treatment failure in patients with IPA. Attention should be given to the albumin level, coinfection status and imaging findings of patients.
