The effect of four-season exercise program(FSEP) Instructor training on active seniors' successful aging, self-efficacy, and Happiness.
This study aimed to examine the impact of applying four seasonal exercise program instructor training course to active seniors on psychological variables such as successful aging, self-efficacy, and happiness. This study used SPSS 25.0 to analyze means, standard deviations, reliability, independent-sample t-tests, and paired-sample t-tests. The experimental design divided participants into experimental and control groups to conduct pre- and post-experimental assessments, with a total of 34 participants. The 12-week instructor training took place once a week for 50 minutes from December 19, 2023 to March 5, 2024. Participants were then surveyed on successful aging, self-regulation, and happiness to determine the impact on psychological factors. The results showed that the experimental group showed statistically significant increases in successful aging, self-regulatory efficacy, and happiness from pre to post. The control group did not show any significant changes. This confirms that educational programs for active seniors, such as all-season sports instructor training, can positively improve psychological factors in active seniors if they target resocialization.
