Diagnostic uncertainties in patients with bacteraemia: impact on antibiotic prescriptions and outcome
DUs were frequent during infections proved by PBC, and were associated with admission in medical wards, broad-spectrum antibiotic use and a high rate of unfavourable outcomes.
