Deterioration Patterns in Patients Admitted for Severe COPD Exacerbation

Three distinct exacerbation patterns were identified in COPD patients based on CAT score variations, suggesting that exacerbations are heterogeneous events. Future studies with larger sample sizes and prospective follow-up are necessary to validate these findings and explore their clinical and prognostic implications.
