Results: Evidence suggests that there are significant challenges in clinical practice, such as a lack of resources and the need for ongoing training, which hinder the effective implementation of care. Furthermore, it was also observed that the pregnant woman’s lack of knowledge regarding her condition, poor appreciation of the work of health professionals and operational challenges faced by nursing are obstacles that directly impact the quality of care and their satisfaction. Conclusion: The adoption of comprehensive protocols improves clinical results and better meets the needs of pregnant women, highlighting the relevance of nursing in promoting maternal-fetal health and well-being.
