Abandono afetivo e alienação parental: divórcio e seus efeitos psicossociais nos filhos
Affective abandonment is defined by negligence itself, as it occurs when parents neglect their children. Parental alienation, on the other hand, involves interference with the psychological development of the child or adolescent. In this context, the following question arises: what are the burdensome implications of divorce on a child who experiences affective abandonment? How is it viewed and defined by Brazilian law, and what are the potential legal implications that aim to clarify the possible consequences affecting healthy child development? Thus, the objective of this study was to identify the psychosocial impacts suffered by children due to affective abandonment and parental alienation as legal aggravators. The adopted methodology was a deductive-hypothetical study, using an integrative literature review with a qualitative approach. Therefore, due to various factors, such as parental separation or daily fatigue, children may find themselves isolated because of a lack of affection, leading to immeasurable harm to their psychosocial well-being.
