Comparison of Vessel Density and Retinal Sensitivity After Scleral Buckling and Phacovitrectomy in the Management of Macula-on Primary Rhegmatogenous Retinal Detachment
Changes in retinal sensitivity were accompanied by impairment of the microvascular network in the eyes after SB and phaco-PPV surgeries due to macula-on RRD. Disorders were more pronounced in eyes following SB surgery, possibly secondary to mechanical stress.
