Photonic Synthesis and Coating of High‐Entropy Oxide on Layered Ni‐Rich Cathode Particles
High-Entropy Materials The image represents the photonic curing process of coating cathode active material powder. A coated particle is enlarged on screen showing the morphology and the rock-salt type high entropy material magnified including mobile Li-ions. In article number 2400197, Simon Schweidler, Torsten Brezesinski, Miriam Botros, and co-workers show that these coated materials can be used to prolong the battery life of several battery cell types and electric vehicle batteries.
