Ion‐Dependent Stability of DNA Origami Nanostructures in the Presence of Photo‐Generated Reactive Oxygen Species
DNA Origami Nanostructures In article number 2400094, Adrian Keller and co-workers explore the effect of photo-generated reactive oxygen species (ROS) on the stability of DNA origami nanostructures in different ionic environments. Low ionic strength is found to result in more severe ROS-induced damage. Part of the damage obtained under such conditions is reversible and can be repaired by the post-exposure addition of Mg2+ ions.
