Work in Progress Workshop: Themes, Challenges and Opportunities
The Works-in-Progress (WiP) workshop started at the United Kingdom and Ireland Computing Education Research (UKICER) conference in 2023. This ‘grown-up doctoral consortium’ is designed to provide a space for academics, researchers and educators to discuss works that would benefit from feedback and critique. The aim is to provide a space for critical but constructive researchers to support each other in improving works to take them to their next level. The present editorial outlines the structure of the workshop, the invited participants for the present workshop and a brief overview of the themes observed.
