Impact of fast-track on recurrence and malignant transformation of patients with inverted papilloma

The majority of recurrences (90%) occurred within the first 2 years after treatment. No cases of malignant transformation were seen in the follow-up period. The rigorous follow-up program potentially contributed to the detection of recurrence before malignant transformation.
