Comparing the Effectiveness of Letrozole Versus Methotrexate for Treatment of Ectopic Pregnancy: A Randomized Controlled Trial
(Abstracted from Eur J Obstet Gynecol Reprod Biol 2024:299:219–224) Implantation and growth of an embryo outside the uterus is considered an ectopic pregnancy (EP) and occurs in roughly 1%–2% of cases. It is more common in cases where pregnancy was achieved via assisted reproductive technology and poses significant risks to the mother if left untreated.
