The present study was conducted in Three Tehsils viz., Jalna, Badnapur and Ghansawangi of Jalna district of Maharashtra state with the purpose to know constraints faced and suggestions given by beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana in Jalna District. Data were gathered by personally interviewing 120 beneficiary farmers. The term "constraints" describes the issues and challenges that the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana's beneficiary farmers faced. Beneficiaries reported the following constraints as lack of capital to cover the maximum area (56.67%), delay in sanctioning of PMKSY (54.17%), sometimes the equipment’s supplied by PMKSY was found inferior or poor quality (50.83%), lack of awareness and knowledge about fertigation (49.17%), credit assessment is low from Govt (47.50%), irregular power supply (45.83%), insufficient training on operation and maintenance of equipment’s (45.00%), high initial investment cost (42.50%), initially complete amount has to be paid by farmers which is unaffordable for them (40.83%). In order to overcome the above constraints the beneficiaries provided the suggestions are as follows, the scheme's complete benefits should be delivered on times (58.33%), the amount of subsidy should be increased (57.50%), standard quality of material should be provided (55.83%), Local dealers should be provided with spare parts (54.17%), Timely information should be disseminated by extension agents (52.50%), The government should supply the necessary equipment at proper times (49.17%), Good quality of emitters should provide to the beneficiaries (47.50%).
