Static analysis and non-probabilistic reliability evaluation of supporting structure of insulation platform

Abstract The insulation platform is a kind of high-altitude live working equipment commonly used in complex terrain environments. Due to the harsh working conditions, the safety of the insulation platform is highly required. The supporting structure of the insulation platform is responsible for carrying the operators, which determines the safety performance of the insulation platform. In this paper, static analysis is conducted on the supporting structures of the rotary insulation platform and rotary lifting insulation platform to study their strength and stiffness properties. Then the reliability of supporting structures is analyzed based on the interval non-probabilistic reliability theory and the reliability of structures is evaluated under different size conditions.
