Multiplicity distributions in the eikonal and the U-matrix unitarization schemes
The multiplicity distribution of charged particles produced in the central rapidity (<a:math xmlns:a="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><a:mo stretchy="false">|</a:mo><a:mi>η</a:mi><a:mo stretchy="false">|</a:mo><a:mo><</a:mo><a:mn>2.5</a:mn></a:math>) region is calculated for the eikonal and the <e:math xmlns:e="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><e:mi>U</e:mi></e:math>-matrix unitarization schemes using the Abramovsky-Gribov-Kancheli (AGK) cutting rules and compared with the ATLAS 13 TeV data. The data favors the eikonal approach. Published by the American Physical Society 2024
