Global Security Changes and Trends
Global security is a critical and complex topic that affects multiple sectors, including agriculture and industry. To effectively prepare for future risks and threats, it is essential to identify and understand these challenges in advance. This research specifically aims to analyze the evolving global security landscape, with a particular focus on its impacts on the agriculture and industrial sectors. By examining the influence of recent global events, such as COVID-19 and the Russia-Ukraine conflict, this paper highlights the most pressing global security issues from 2007 to 2023. Using a combination of secondary research review and content analysis, we identify key trends, including persistent issues like the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, international crime, and natural risks, alongside emerging challenges such as environmental security, global energy market volatility, and infrastructure vulnerabilities. The findings of this research provide a framework for ongoing studies in risk analysis across various industries, with a specific emphasis on sustainable agriculture and food security, offering a solid foundation for future research and policy development.
