Generalized Sugeno Integrals Applied to Scientometric Indices

We present a novel generalization of the standard Sugeno integral motivated by scientometrics. We provide several properties of this operator with respect to the properties of a family of conditional aggregation operators. Applying the results to scientific records, we discuss the possibilities of eliminating the weaknesses of the h-index and related scientometric indices.

Abstract

We present a novel generalization of the standard Sugeno integral motivated by scientometrics. We provide several properties of this operator with respect to the properties of a family of conditional aggregation operators. Applying the results to scientific records, we discuss the possibilities of eliminating the weaknesses of the h-index and related scientometric indices.
