A Correlation Approach for SOPs Detection Combining OFDM
Global satellite navigation systems (GNSS) have played an important role in daily lives, scientific research, and military applications. However, their shortcomings such as low power reaching the ground and inability to be applied in signal-obstructed scenarios. Signals of Opportunity (SOPs) navigation has outstanding advantages in overcoming these problems by receiving and processing signals that exist in the space to users. In this paper, Digital Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcast (DTMB) and Long Time Evolution (LTE) was exploited as Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) signals, and a noncoherent demodulation opportunity signal detection model is proposed based on the theory of radar outlier detection, to solve the problem of inaccurate timing synchronization. The simulation results show that the proposed model can identified the same species and multiple SOPs. Subsequently, the above detected SOPs can be used to positioning.
