City Parking Simplified in a Mobile Environment
In the modern urban life, finding adequate parking spaces is becoming an increasingly difficult challenge. Often, urban infrastructure struggles to keep pace with the growing number of vehicles, failing to provide sufficient parking spaces, necessitating alternative solutions to meet parking needs. The Parker application aims to alleviate the difficulties associated with parking and promote more efficient utilization of parking spaces. The application is accessible to two roles: vehicle drivers and owners. For drivers, it offers the opportunity to search for and rent parking spaces for both short and long term periods. Additionally, it enables parking and garage owners to generate income by renting out their properties and easily reach renters through the application. The system consists of two parts: a cross-platform mobile application for Android and iOS, and a central server that serves it. The paper details the structure of these two components and also presents the usage of the application.
