Anti‐/Deicing Membranes with Damage Detection and Fast Healing (Adv. Funct. Mater. 40/2024)
Anti-/Deicing Membranes In article number 2404760, Liqiu Wang and co-workers present a super-hydrophobic elastic membrane with a remarkable conformability toward sophisticated structure, showing a 30 s deicing time under the effect of both solar irradiation of 0.1 W cm−2 and applied voltage of 10 V. The membrane is capable of removing multi-scale damages via its real-time detection and healing, thus largely enhancing its adaptability and life span in anti-/deicing application.
