A Study on γ-Ray Attenuation in MnO

Abstract An experimental study has been conducted to determine the attenuation of γ-photons in Manganese oxide (MnO). Determining the thermophysical properties of the chemical at various temperatures within the 300K–1075K temperature range is the primary goal of the study. Additionally, the investigation on attenuation has been expanded to assess photon interaction characteristics at varying γ-energies.
