Research on Barrage Interaction in Reading Videos from the Perspective of Interaction Ritual Chains
Based on the theory of interaction ritual chains, this study, conducts a text analysis of reading videos on the Bilibili platform. It explores the interactive characteristics and patterns of reading videos and establishes a model of the interaction ritual chain for reading videos. The study finds that the barrage interaction in reading videos revolves tightly around literary works as the core, mainly discussing the plot of the books and extending to emotional and social aspects. Moreover, users have a strong emotional resonance with the works. The interaction ritual of reading videos produces results such as identity identification, emotional identification, and moral identification.
