Application of Machine Learning to Plant Phenomics
Plant phenoomics is a scientific field that studies the phenotypic characteristics of plants and their changes. It involves the quantitative analysis of plant morphology, growth, development, yield, resistance, quality and other characteristics. Plant phenoomics is undergoing a revolutionary change with the development of high-throughput imaging techniques and machine learning methods that allow researchers to automate the measurement and analysis of thousands of plant samples, leading to new insights in fields such as genetics, breeding, and ecology. The application of machine learning in plant phenomics is multifaceted, it can not only improve the efficiency and accuracy of data analysis, but also help to reveal the complex biological mechanisms behind plant phenotypes, accelerate the breeding process, and provide scientific basis for crop management. With the continuous advancement of technology, machine learning will play a more important role in plant phenomics research in the future
