An Open-Short Hybrid De-Embedding Method up to 65 GHz
In this paper, a hybrid de-embedding method of lumped equivalent circuit and cascade technology based on the ultrawide-band open-short de-embedding is proposed. This method realizes the de-embedding through the mixed calculation of T matrix and Y/Z-parameters. In order to avoid the problem of the over de-embedding in terahertz frequency band, the terminal effect is considered in the equivalent circuit model of open and short. To verify the proposed de-embedding method, the measurement data are compared with the model simulation results, and the results before and after embedding from 100 MHz to 65 GHz of 28 nm CMOS technology are compared. These results verify the accuracy of the proposed method.
