Application of D-InSAR and SBAS-InSAR Techniques in Geological Hazard Identification
This study employs Differential Interferomet-ric Synthetic Aperture Radar (D-InSAR) and Small Baseline Subset (SBAS) Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) techniques to identify geological hazards within study area. D-InSAR analysis was conducted using data from the SAOCOM radar satellite acquired between May 2022 and June 2022, successfully identifying six hazard points. SBAS-InSAR analysis utilized data from Sentinel ra-dar satellites spanning from October 2021 to June 2022, re-sulting in the identification of two hazard points. Each iden-tified hazard point underwent field validation to verify the accuracy and reliability of the monitoring results. The findings indicate that high-precision SAR data combined with D-InSAR technique, as well as medium to low-resolution SAR data coupled with SBAS-InSAR technique, yield promising results in practical applications. However, high-precision SAR data excel in identifying smaller-scale hazards, while medium to low-resolution data tends to detect larger-scale geological hazards, albeit with reduced sensitivity to smaller- sized hazard points.
